I am trying every day to improve and make it right and get fit as soon as possible. Reece James
Reece James hobbled off the pitch against AC Milan during their champions league night after seemingly suffering a knee injury. The Chelsea right-back was substituted midway through the match after attempting to carry on playing.
The scare could not have come at a worse time for Chelsea and England, with a packed schedule for Graham Potter in the next month ahead of the mid-season break for the World Cup. The Blues currently lack a like-for-like replacement for James in his position, while the Three Lions may already face losing Kyle Walker after he underwent surgery, putting further emphasis on the importance of the Chelsea academy graduate.
Reece James: "I am trying to be positive. I am not not sure how long this injury will take. I am not in pain. But if I try to speed it up, it might be bit of a risk...", tells The Sun.
