Kenneth Chigozie Michael, known professionally as Wax, is a rising Nigerian singer and songwriter. Born in Makurdi, Benue State, with roots tracing back to Umuahia, Abia State, Wax has demonstrated a deep passion for music since his early years.

Wax embarked on his musical journey in 2013 during his secondary school days, immersing himself in the sounds of renowned artists such as Wizkid, Davido, Olamide and Burna Boy. Recognizing the vibrant music scene in Lagos as a prime opportunity, Wax made the decision to relocate from Benue State to the bustling city in order to launch his music career.
