Barely hours to the new year (2023), a certain Twitter user identified as Samkid Baba has charged Nigerians to replicate the same energy used to pray at crossover night in their daily lives. Samkid made the charge via a tweet on Saturday, 31st December, 2022 when the whole media space had gone agog over the ‘last-day-of-the-year’ syndrome of excitement. While many expressed gratitude for being alive and receiving the many gifts they had recieved in the course of year, another exciting factor was the cross over night in view. Usually, the last day of the year is always a fun filled day as many people begin to write and make known their new year resolutions, asking forgiveness from people they might have wronged and simply just making fun of the whole stuff in many different ways.
